Common Conjunctions with Meanings

  • If = अगर
  • Unless = अगर नहीं
  • Until = जब तक नहीं
  • Before = पहले
  • After = बाद में
  • While = जब
  • During = के दौरान
  • Or / Else / Otherwise = वरना
  • But = लेकिन
  • And = और
  • So = इसलिए
  • Because = क्योंकि
  • Though = यद्यपि
  • Lest = कहीं ऐसा न हो
