A Conjunction is a word used to connect clauses or sentences, or to coordinate words in the same clause.
(Conjunctions वे शब्द हैं जो वाक्यों/शब्दों/clauses को जोड़ते हैं।)
Common Conjunctions with Meanings
- If = अगर
- Unless = अगर नहीं
- Until = जब तक नहीं
- Before = पहले
- After = बाद में
- While = जब
- During = के दौरान
- Or / Else / Otherwise = वरना
- But = लेकिन
- And = और
- So = इसलिए
- Because = क्योंकि
- Though = यद्यपि
- Lest = कहीं ऐसा न हो
