Prepositions
A Preposition is a word placed before a noun or pronoun to show its relation with other words in a sentence.
(Preposition वह शब्द है जो noun/pronoun का सम्बन्ध वाक्य के अन्य शब्दों से दिखाता है।)
Important Rules of Prepositions
- Of: Die of, Afraid of, Fond of, Hard of
- In: बड़े शहरों, महीनों, सन और किसी निश्चित स्थान के भीतर
- At: छोटे शहरों, exact time (e.g. 5 o'clock)
- On: Day और Date के लिए / दो वस्तुएं एक दूसरे को स्पर्श करें / सतह पर
- To: एक स्थान से दूसरे स्थान की ओर / prefer के बाद
- Between: 2 लोगों/वस्तुओं के बीच
- Among: 2 से अधिक लोगों/वस्तुओं के बीच
- Given up: त्यागना
- With: किसी साधन / instrument के लिए
- By: किसके द्वारा / time expression (by my watch)
