Relative Clause

A Relative Clause is a clause that begins with a relative pronoun or relative adverb and describes a noun in the main clause.
(Relative Clause वह clause है जो किसी noun के बारे में अधिक जानकारी देने के लिए relative pronoun/adverb से शुरू होता है।)

Relative Pronouns

  • Who / Whose / Whom: व्यक्ति (Person) के लिए प्रयोग।
    • Who (कौन/जो)
    • Whose (किसका/जिसका – possession के लिए)
    • Whom (जिसको/किसको – object के लिए)
  • That / What: वस्तुओं के लिए (That = जो, What = जो चीज़)
  • Which: वस्तुओं और जानवरों के लिए (जो)

Relative Adverbs

  • When: समय (time) के लिए
  • Why: कारण (reason) के लिए
  • Where: स्थान (place) के लिए
  • How: ढंग/तरीके (manners) के लिए
